Major tasks include cleaning and maintaining exhibits, holding stalls, and service areas; continual monitoring of exhibits and public area condition with attention to detail; feeding and watering of animals; providing assistance in restraining animals for veterinary management and research purposes; participating in the use of behavioral conditioning to train species for husbandry/research purposes; maintaining departmental records; and working on special projects as needed.
