Because it's not always possible for school groups to visit the Zoo for one of our on-grounds education programs, we're happy to come to you.

How Far Will We Travel?
We offer a wide range of outreach programs for school groups within the Zoo-Museum District and within a 30-mile radius of the Zoo.

Outreach Themes
Our school outreach programs have been grouped into major themes -- adaptation, classification/animals, conservation and ecology -- to help teachers choose appropriate programs to fit school curriculum or classroom units. Each theme has offerings at different grade levels, beginning with general introduction of concepts and moving toward more specific topics and concepts of increasing complexity
