Because it's not always possible for school groups to visit the Zoo for one of our on-grounds education programs, we're happy to come to you. How Far Will We Travel? We offer a wide range of outreach programs for school groups within the Zoo-Museum District and within a 30-mile radius of the Zoo. Outreach Themes Our school outreach programs have been grouped into major themes -- adaptation, classification/animals, conservation and ecology -- to help teachers choose appropriate programs to fit school curriculum or classroom units. Each theme has offerings at different grade levels, beginning with general introduction of concepts and moving toward more specific topics and concepts of increasing complexity Class Length and Pricing 30 Minute Presentations Fee: $75 (ZMD $60) Please note: A minimum of two classes must be scheduled. 45 Minute Presentations Fee: $150 for the first program, $110 for a second program scheduled at the same site on the same day.
