This read-aloud program is fun for all ages. We'll read three stories with animal characters in them. Then you will meet the live versions and learn about these fascinating animals.

Fall into Winter (NEW!)

Discover changes animals endure in order to survive in places where the weather turns cold. Some animals stay where they are and others make journeys to new places each season. we'll learn about different animals and what they do through interactive presentations and live animal encounters. You'll also find out how the Saint Louis Zoo helps animals survive through this harsh season.

Spring into Summer (NEW!)

As the trees turn green and the ice melts away, we know that winter is over and summer is on it's way. Learn how animals celebrate this change in nature, such as frogs chirping, birds singing and babies being born. We will explore the different ways that animals make the switch from cold winter days to warm summer nights.

Animal Opposites (NEW!)

How is a chinchilla different than a rabbit? Does a bearded dragon feel the same as a salamander? Learn about differences in the animal kingdom as we meet some animals from the Zoo!

Registering for Outreach Programs
Advance reservations and payment of any fees are required for all outreach programs. Please plan your schedule carefully, since it may be difficult to reschedule.
