A Day with the Rays
For students entering 2nd-8th grade
Join the St. Louis Zoo’s team of amazing keepers by participating in A Day with the Rays! On your way to becoming a junior aquatics keeper for the day, we will give you an official nametag to take home and a Zoo shirt to borrow. Jump right in with preparing diets for the stingrays and sharks and then help maintain the exhibit to keep it looking nice and the animals healthy. Once the morning duties are done, there is still more to do! As the new expert, you will help visitors learn about our exhibit and how to touch and feed the stingrays and touch the sharks. Please wear a t-shirt, khaki or jean shorts and old, closed-toed shoes. Bring a bottle of water and a camera. A Saint Louis Zoo snack and lunch will be provided. Get wet, smell like fish, and have a ton of fun at A Day with the Rays. Your participation means a lot and we would love to have you!
Note: We do not recommend this program for children with shellfish allergies. Please mention any latex allergies on the registration form.
Limited to 2 participants per day.
