Camp Joey
For children age 4 - entering kindergarten.
Children must be 4 years old by their program date. No exceptions will be made.
Get ready, little ones! It's time to hop out of the pouch and into the Zoo at Camp Joey! Our days will be filled with animal antics, habitat ventures and Zoo fun as we learn to experience and appreciate the animal world together. The theme for Camp Joey this summer is Animals in our World.
You will:
• Experience classroom animals through hands-on contact
• Make crafts and a photo journal to take home
• Play active animal games
• Ride the Zooline Railroad
• Sing and dance to fun Zoo tunes
• Visit great Zoo exhibits
• And more!
Camp Joey t-shirt, group photo, and snack included.
Limited to 20 campers per session.
Fee: Zoo Members $125 / General Public $135
Instructors: Seasonal Instructors, Zoo Staff and Zoo ALIVE volunteers
Camp Joey scholarships are available to families with financial need. Click here to download an application packet or call (314) 646-4544 to request an application. Camp Scholarships are possible thanks to generous donations from the Ensign- Bickford Foundation on behalf of AFB International, and the Walter and Nancy Galvin Endowed Fund for Children. Completed applications must be received by Thursday, May 3, 2012.
You can order extra Camp Joey t-shirts! Cost: $12. Indicate your order on the registration form. Youth sizes only.
After-care is not available for Camp Joey.
