Parents you are invited to attend class with your children! Classes are for families with students in grades K-8, and will include live animals, biofacts, journaling, and investigation activities. Come learn about animal science and conservation with cooperative learning activities geared to help you meet your child's science needs. Programs are held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Classes meet in the lower level of The Living World Building. For more information, call (314) 646-4544.
Animal Care and Conservation How important is conservation? Through games, activities, live animals and a craft, you will learn how the Saint Louis Zoo cares for its animals here on grounds and around the world. Families will learn the role of the Zoo and what they can do to help conserve animals.

Animal Adapatations and Enrichment Animals have amazing adaptations that help them survive in their habitats. Enrichment is an important way for keepers to enrich an animal's Zoo environment. Come see how the Saint Louis Zoo uses enrichment to enhance the animals' lives while getting an exciting opportunity to view some of their unique adaptations in action.

Animal Behavior and Training In this class you will learn about animal behavior and how the Saint Louis Zoo uses natural behaviors for training purposes. Participants will learn how to make simple observations and will be given a take home project for observing animal behavior in your neighborhood.
