Wild Nights At The Saint Louis Zoo

These overnight programs are for families with children entering kindergarten and up. Youth and adults attend these programs TOGETHER. The fees for these programs are per registered participant. All participating family and group leaders must be registered.

Summer overnights offer a unique opportunity for participants to sleep under the stars or sea, without tents. Weather permitting we will sleep in our overnight space in the heart of the Zoo. Should it rain, we will sleep inside (except for Under the Sea-lion overnights, which will cancel). All overnights include an evening snack, night hike around Zoo grounds, continental breakfast and a souvenir cup.

Animal Avengers

For families with participants ages 5 and up; one adult and one child minimum

Animal Avengers Unite! During this overnight adventure you will complete a scavenger hunt while you learn about animals in peril and how to save them. By the end of the program you will become a Superhero to the animals of the world while demonstrating what it takes to help protect these precious creatures! This overnight programs offers an exciting chance to see the Zoo animals active at night, sleep outside under the stars (weather permitting), and meet other families from around the area.

Under the Sea-lion

For families with participants ages 5 and up; one adult and one child minimum

New! Join us for this amazing opportunity to sleep inside the Sea Lion Sound tunnel! We will explore some of our marine life at the Zoo by visiting Caribbean Cove and Penguin and Puffin Coast. We will end the night by laying our sleeping bags inside the tunnel. You will awake under the sea and hopefully under a sea lion!
