These programs require the participation of at least one parent or other adult for every one to two registered children. These programs are designed for caregivers to interact with, and help facilitate the learning of the registered program participant. In order to best serve all or our Young Children participants, unregistered children may not participate in the programs. The fees for these programs are per child. There is no charge for the accompanying adult. Please list the accompanying adult on the registration form.

Animal Hide and Seek

For children with birth dates 6/01/08 - 5/31/09 accompanied by an adult

"Look closely. Can you see me up in the tree?" Discover the wonders of animal camouflage to learn how these "costumes" help them disguise. Each participant will make their own camouflaged critter to take home.

Rhyming and Rapping at the Zoo

For children with birth dates 6/01/08 - 5/31/09 accompanied by an adult

Raise your arms and swing your hips – you’ll learn new songs and rhymes about your Zoo visit! Meeting animals, making a take-home craft, hearing animal stories and making up your own stories all create a morning full of rhyming, rapping, “tails”, fables and fun.
