These programs require the participation of at least one parent or other adult for every one to two registered children. These programs are designed for caregivers to interact with, and help facilitate the learning of the registered program participant. In order to best serve all or our Young Children participants, unregistered children may not participate in the programs. The fees for these programs are per child. There is no charge for the accompanying adult. Please list the accompanying adult on the registration form.

Animals at Play

For children with birth dates 6/01/08 - 5/31/10 accompanied by an adult

Do you like to play tag, hide-and-go-seek or catch? Young animals gain strength and develop survival skills while playing, which helps them in the wild. Come and discover why cheetah cubs wrestle, chimps chase and river otters play with their food.

Habitat Discoveries

For children with birth dates 6/01/08 – 5/31/10 accompanied by an adult

What’s hiding among the nooks and crannies of a rotten log? Come find out as we learn how to use simple tools to explore the hidden marvels of the animal world. Become a young zoo scientists as you investigate what animals need to survive in their habitats through hands-on activities, exploration and more. Each participant will receive a journal for future exploration.

Zoo Clues

We have an animal mystery to solve and we need your help! We will track kudu clues, put the clues in a Zoo-per-dooper notebook and use stickers to mark where we've been. We'll get close and personal with the animals as they reveal their secrets.
