Youth attend these programs on their own, unaccompanied by a parent or other adult.
Earth Safari
Are there llamas in the Bahamas? Any squid in Madrid? Come have a great time learning about animals from around the world. We will meet live animals in class and tour selected animals on Zoo grounds. Each participant will create an animal atlas to take home.

Powerful Pachyderms
Ever wonder why elephants, rhinos, and hippos are called pachyderms? Why do elephants have trunks? What does a rhino use its horn for? Join us as we learn the answers to these questions and more about our elephants, rhinos, and hippos here at the Zoo. We will finish the class with a walk through the River’s Edge to see our powerful pachyderms.
