Invisible World

During this two-day class, discover the fascinating wonders of the world not seen by the naked eye.  Learn how microscopes work and discover what everyday objects (and some not seen everyday) look like magnified up to 120 items!  We will also look for wild critters from a local pond sample that can only be seen under a microscope.

Seals, Sea Lions and Walruses, Oh My! (NEW)

For students entering 2nd - 4th

Dive into the fun-filled world of these fin-footed mammals. Sea lions, seals, and walruses are all in this family and will be the topic of the day. We will learn how to tell them apart, learn where they live, and go see our sea lion stars in the show. After the show, we will take a stroll through the Sea Lion Sound exhibit to visit all of our fin-footed friends up close.
