They ooze toxic slime and encase themselves in mucous sacs. They're amphibians, and we'll learn all about their amazing adaptations. Limited to 16 students per session.

The Insect WorldInsects are more than creepy "crawlies". They are fascinating animals with often strange body forms and unusual adaptations. We will go insect-collecting on Zoo grounds and learn how to identify some common insects of Missouri. Each participant will receive an insect collecting net and mounting materials. Limited to 20 students per session.

Radical ReptilesSome have armor plating, others have two-inch fangs, and all have scales and a rotten reputation. Learn to sort the facts from fiction in the world of reptiles. We'll meet snakes, lizards and turtles, learn about their lives in the wild, and what the Saint Louis Zoo is doing to conserve these radical reptiles. Limited to 16 students per session.
