Animal Myths and Legends

For students entering 4th - 6th grade

From books to movies, animals play an important role in our modern day entertainment. But do dragons really exist? What exactly is a gryphon? Where did the myth of the Kraken come from? This class will explore a variety of animals, real and imaginary, and how they add to our enjoyment of the stories they are found in.

Limited to 18 students per session.

Dive Into the Oceans

For students entering 4th - 6th grade

Dive in and get your feet wet as we explore life in the ocean. Discover how we in St. Louis affect the ocean, and how the ocean affects us. We will visit marine animals, including the “Stingrays at Caribbean Cove”, enjoy the Zoo’s Sea Lion Show and more.
