Amphibian and Reptilian Orders
This course is designed for students studying herpetology. Using the Zoo's resources, students will compare and contrast the anatomy of amphibian and reptilian orders.

Mammalian Orders
This discussion of mammalian orders is designed for students enrolled in a college-level mammalogy course. With the use of animal artifacts and biofacts, students will compare and contrast the anatomy of different mammalian orders.

Are you looking for a program to meet your students' specific needs? Using the Zoo's large and diverse collection of animal artifacts, teachers can work with our Zoo staff to design a lab tailored for your students. This class must take place on Zoo grounds and can be taught by Zoo staff or by the classroom teacher. Live animal presentations by Zoo staff can also be incorporated into the program for an additional fee.

CONSERVATION AT THE ZOO AND BEYOND

Fee: $125 (ZMD $100)
Offered September through May

We will focus on how the Saint Louis Zoo works cooperatively with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and international institutions to conserve species around the world. Come learn about AZA programs that the Saint Louis Zoo participates in, and the Zoo's WildCare Institute. Use of biofacts, live animals, and an inquiry-based activity will complete this class.
