Saint Louis Zoo docents have been trained to adapt educational programs to meet your group’s specific educational needs. The following programs have been developed specifically for participants with special needs. No minimum number of students is required. However, we recommend a maximum of 15 students per program. You are responsible for managing the behavior of your group. We request that you provide the necessary supervision so that our staff and/or docents can provide a meaningful and quality experience. ClassesTeachers may request on-site classes from our offerings that would be appropriate for students with special needs. If the needs of the students will be better met with programs for students in younger grades (i.e., more developmentally appropriate), please let us know when scheduling. To schedule a program, call the Education Department at (314) 646-4544.
