Location: Near Florissant, Colorado
Date: July 16-22, 2005

Repeating the very popular 2003 trip, both children and adults will enjoy this special week of exploration and discovery in the Colorado wilderness. The exciting program explores the diverse flora and fauna of the Rocky Mountains across five distinct life zones. Participants will also enjoy investigating now-extinct life form at the famed Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument.

Every day of this weeklong trip is filled with fun activities: birding walks before breakfast, evening natural history programs, late-night forays in search of porcupines, elk and deer, and viewing the awesome night sky through telescopes. Luxurious studio apartments, family-style meals, swimming pool, sportsplex and miles of trails create a perfect mountain safari in style.
