Party at the Young Zoo Friends' popular Jammin' at the Zoo! Enjoy a great evening of live music, entertainment, food and drinks while enjoying the beautiful Zoo grounds. (Ages 21 and up only, please.)

All4Nothin, DJ Andrew Mullins, Kim Massie, Lamar Harris and CoCo Soul, Mo and Dawn, Rhythm of the Night

Eats and Drinks

Wine and Beer Sampling from 6-8 p.m. (while supplies last)
Sample wines from more than 50 wineries, featuring over 200 different wines. Enjoy new beers and specialty products at Anheuser-Busch sampling stations.

Bars and Food
Wine by the glass and bottle, beer, soda and frozen specialty drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Food will also be available to purchase during the event.

Admission & Parking

Zoo Friends Members -- Free:

  • Members receive 2 free tickets
  • Members may park for free on the Zoo's north parking lot on Government Drive
  • Members enter through the North Entrance at The Living World

Non-members -- $10:

  • $10 per person for non-members
  • Non-members may park for free on the south parking lot at Tamm and Wells Drives near Highway 40/64
  • Non-members enter through the South Entrance at the Z-O-O pylon
  • Join the Young Zoo Friends either night, and you and a guest will get in free

Tickets are available at the doors on the night of each event. 

Attire is casual/dressy casual.

Private Event Areas

Private event packages are available for groups of 25 or more. Packages include an opportunity to meet California sea lions, beer and wine upon entry for your guests, personal party concierge, hors d'oeuvres reception at a unique private event area. Y98 Extras

Swing by the Y98 FM booth where Kerrie Mondy will be doing cut-ins to Paul Cook's show from 6 to 7 p.m., as well as broadcasting her own show live from the Zoo from 7 to 10 p.m. While you listen, register to win a 3-night trip for two to Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, courtesy of Worry-Free Vacations.
