Mummies and daddies are invited to bring their little ghouls and goblins to a day of safe and free trick-or-treating along the Pumpkin Trail. Encounter surprises and goodies along the way, along with your favorite costumed characters, clowns and entertainment. Be sure to come and show off your costume at this event, especially during the costume parade! There are plenty of photo opportunities including haystacks, pumpkins and of course, our animals! It is a safe Halloween event all ghouls and goblins are sure to enjoy.
Boo at the Zoo Spooky Saturday is FREE and no reservations are needed.
Boo-tiful Costume
Dress in style with a Boo at the Zoo souvenir T-shirt. The long-sleeve white cotton shirt features prairie dogs as trick-or-treaters.

Orders can be placed by calling (314) 646-4771. Shirts are also available for purchase at Zootique and Safari gift shops (while supplies last.) Gift shops are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and during Boo at the Zoo Nights from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Costumes
Because Boo at the Zoo is a family-friendly event with young children who might be frightened, visitors over age 16 in costume are not allowed unless they are accompanying children. Specifically, our policy requires no adults can be wearing a mask or otherwise have their face covered with face-painting, etc.
