Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert Series presented by Missouri Lottery

Friday evenings 5-8 p.m.

"Splish splash" with the stingrays, "cha-cha" with the cheetahs, "salsa" with the sea lions or "two-step" with the tigers at Jungle Boogie, the Zoo's Friday night concert series for the whole family. See concert schedule.

New at the Zoo

Stingrays at Caribbean Cove featuring Sharks is back for a season-long pool party! Open daily, now through September 30, 2012.

Sea Lion Sound is opening June 30, 2012! The 10,400-square-foot exhibit will combine the popular Sea Lion Basin and Sea Lion Show in a 1.5-acre spectacular new exhibit right in the heart of the Zoo. For the first time anywhere in North America, visitors will walk through an underwater tunnel into the sea lions' habitat to see the animals swimming all around them!

Free Hour (8-9 a.m.)

The Children's Zoo, Conservation Carousel and Stingrays at Caribbean Cove featuring Sharks are free from 8-9 a.m. each day during summer. Admission charges apply after 9 a.m.

Summer Showtime

First Bank Sea Lion Show

Coming June 30, 2012! Sea lion superstars will thrill you with flipper walks, ball balancing and lots of splashing! Admission is $4 per person; children under two are free. Shows are at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 3 p.m. daily starting June 30, with an additional show at 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Shows will be held at the new Lichtenstein Sea Lion Arena, which features an 811-seat amphitheater for seasonal shows, a large stage, a rock bridge extending into the audience and a high diving platform and slide.

Children's Zoo Show

See kissing alpacas, gymnastic armadillos, mimicking macaw and more showcase their natural talents. Shows are at 10 and 11 a.m., 1, 2 and 3 p.m. daily (except Wednesdays) with an additional show at 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission to the Children's Zoo is $4 per person with free admission the first hour the Zoo is open; children under two are free.

Visitor Tip

Some of the animals are more active in the cooler hours of early morning and early evening. Occasionally, some animals may need to turn in early.
