The Living World

Rated one of the finest venues in St. Louis, The Living World is a place that will your make your event unique in all the world. Drama and grandeur surround you as you enter the 65-foot rotunda flooded with natural light from the glass-domed ceiling. Its two levels with beautifully finished wood floors offer 55,000 square feet of multi-purpose settings. Plus, your guests will inevitably be entertained by the dazzling biological world in the interactive exhibits of the Ecology and Animal Halls. Where else in the world can you find all-in-one animal exploration, custom-defined atmosphere and exquisite catering?

For your special presentation and entertainment requirements, there is a 378-seat theater located in The Living World. The ultra-modern technology including theater-quality equipment for the purest sound possible, digital film projection, slide and multi-media systems will help you make presentations that are imaginative, engrossing and entertaining. The Living World's professional technical staff will operate the equipment for you and provide whatever assistance you desire.

The Living World can host 500 guests for a catered dinner or 1,000 for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. It is available for rent seven days a week from 6:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.
