From the polar icecaps to tropical rainforests, animals have made some pretty amazing adaptations. See some of the hardy species that climb, swim and swing through some of the seemingly inhospitable places on the planet. Our naturalistic habitats are designed to help showcase the natural abilities of these hardy species. Starting with one of the oldest exhibits, Bear Bluffs, to our newest exhibit, Fragile Forest, you'll see animals from each corner of the earth displaying behaviors you would see in the wild. "Dino Island" Motion SimulatorHours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily (weather permitting) You are part of a scientific team whose mission is to explore a newly formed island that has baffled environmentalists around the world. Upon arriving, you discover that the island is thriving with prehistoric plant life, dark caves, rivers of lava and dinosaurs. With Dino Island I, the motion simulator, you will come eye-to-eye with T-Rex, Pteroenodon and a herd of Apatosaurs. Located near the 1904 Flight Cage. Tickets are $3 per person.
