Welcome Baby!

#KeeperPerspective Our crested wood partridge chicks are enjoying a few special elephant-shaped treats in honor of our newborn  elephant calf! Bird keeper Marija Elden cut  apples in the shape of baby elephants to commemorate the occasion.  This gaggle of crested wood partridge chicks are very curious and like to try new foods. #BringTheStlZooToYou

Haircuts!

#KeeperPerspective No delay for haircuts at the Emerson Children’s Zoo. Early last month, just in time for summer, alpacas Freeman and Andrus received their “summer haircuts” thanks to keepers. #BringTheStlZooToYou
