    Birds at our Zoo

The Saint Louis Zoo is well-known for its diverse array of bird species. Our waterfowl collection is one of the largest of any zoo in North America. And we have hundreds of other exotic species, many of which are endangered.

You may not be familiar with motmots, seriemas or frogmouths, but you'll be delighted when you meet them. Come visit our birds at the Bird House & Garden, the 1904 Flight Cage and Penguin & Puffin Coast.
