Mammals at our Zoo

The Saint Louis Zoo has more than a hundred mammal species, representing most of the groups on the planet. Many of our species are endangered in the wild, and we participate in cooperative breeding programs to increase their numbers.

You'll find mammals on display at most of the major Zoo exhibits, including River's Edge, Jungle of the Apes, Bear Bluffs, the Primate House, the Antelope Yards, Big Cat Country and the Sea Lion Arena.
