Our Fall 2021 class offerings include engaging activities like role-playing, songs, dances, games, hands-on investigations, and art opportunities. Each class will allow children to learn about animals and connect with nature.  

Fees listed are PER CHILD.

NOTE: These programs are designed for caregivers and children to attend together. This helps facilitate the learning of the registered program participant.

    Playful Primates

    Come climb, crawl, and toddle like the animals at the new Primate Canopy Trails habitat! This class will conclude with a visit to see these playful primates in action!

    Beautiful Birds

    Come enjoy the brilliant birds at the Saint Louis Zoo’s Bird Garden. Wander down the peaceful path as you learn all about these beautiful beings.

    Fall Friends

    Celebrate the changing seasons by discovering what makes autumn so magical. Toddling tots will explore with their senses all that nature has to offer during this special time of year.

    Arctic Animals

    Who loves the cold? These animals do! Your child will use their senses to explore what it would be like to live like arctic animals!

    Creepy Critters

    Learn about creepy crawly critters and how they help the environment. We’ll explore in a classroom, then conclude our class with a visit to Missouri Meadows.

    Awesome Animal Families

    Animals have families just like we do! Some baby animals live with their mom and dad, others are adopted by parents of a different species, but all are amazing. Join us as we discover all the awesome things animal parents do to help their young!

    Holiday Critter Crafts

    The holidays are fun! Why not share the festivities with the wildlife in your own backyard? We’ll create a variety of seasonal treats for birds, as well as animal-themed décor to take home.

    Romp & Stomp

    Can you romp like a squirrel or stomp like a rhino? Join other families with young children as we learn about animals through songs, stories and games.

    Animal Builders & Us

    We’ll exercise our STEAM skills as we design bird nests, construct stick forts, and have tons of hands-on fun while learning all about the amazing things that animals create in the wild! Please note: This class will take place at the Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park.

    Dynamic Dinosaurs

    As Jr. Paleontologists, we’ll explore how and what scientists have discovered about these prehistoric giants.

    Autumn Explorations

    Come explore the great outdoors with us at the Zoo’s new property in North County! We will spend time creating nature art, investigating native habitats and starting your very own nature journal. Please note: This class will take place at the Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park.
