These programs require the participation of at least one parent or other adult for every one to two registered children. These programs are designed for caregivers to interact with, and help facilitate the learning of the registered program participant. In order to best serve all of our Early Childhood participants, unregistered children may not participate in the programs. The fees for these programs are per child. There is no charge for the accompanying adult. Please list the accompanying adult on the registration form.

Animal Hide and Seek

For children ages 4 - 5, accompanied by an adult

"Look closely. Can you see me up in the tree?" Discover the wonders of animal camouflage to learn how these "costumes" help them disguise. Each participant will make their own camouflaged critter to take home.

Bugs, Slugs and Dirt!

For children ages 4 - 5, accompanied by an adult

What’s hiding among the nooks and crannies of a rotten log?  Come find out as we learn how to use simple tools to explore the hidden marvels of the animal world.   Become a young zoo scientist as you investigate what animals need to survive in their habitats through hands-on activities, exploration and more.  Each participant will receive a journal for future exploration.
