Have you ever wanted to be a zookeeper? Do you have a passion for animals? If so, join a Children's Zoo keeper for a day of zoo-keeping! You will work side by side with a keeper and learn to care for a variety of animals. You will prepare diets in the Children’s Zoo kitchen and help our keepers feed some of the animals. You will learn to handle a small mammal, bird or reptile and then present the animal to Children's Zoo visitors, describing that animal’s natural history and sharing some fun facts.  You will join the keepers for staff meeting, break time and lunch. Please wear a T-shirt, khaki or jean shorts/pants and old shoes - you will get dirty! Bring a bottle of water and a camera, if you like. A Saint Louis Zoo name tag, snack and lunch will be provided.
