This course through Forest Park and the Zoo takes runners and walkers past some of the Zoo’s most scenic features, including the antelope and giraffe habitats, the beautiful architecture of Historic Hill, and the Zoo’s newest exhibit, Grizzly Ridge, home to grizzly bears Huckleberry and Finley.  The start/finish line is located right outside The Living World building on Government Drive.

Participants in the 5K and 1-mile race will receive a disposable timing chip for more accurate results.

You can run or jog, and you can walk on the road, trail, treadmill, track, at the gym or even at another race! You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Your registration fee will still support the Saint Louis Zoo; we will mail your shirt and finisher’s ribbon to you the week of the race. Select "virtual runner" during the registration process.
