Join the Saint Louis Zoo and St. Louis Children’s Hospital for the 33rd annual Make Tracks Through the Zoo. This year, for the first time ever, participants get to run through the world-class Saint Louis Zoo!

This NEW course through Forest Park and the Zoo takes runners and walkers past some of the Zoo’s most scenic features, including the antelope and giraffe habitats, the beautiful architecture of Historic Hill, and the Zoo’s newest exhibit, Grizzly Ridge, home to grizzly bears Huckleberry and Finley.  The start/finish line is located right outside The Living World building on Government Drive.

Participants in the 5K and 1-mile race will receive a disposable timing chip for more accurate results.

NEW! Virtual Run

Don't want to get up at the crack of dawn? Want to support the Zoo from afar? Sign up to be a virtual runner! A virtual race is a race in which you can run (or walk) from any location you choose. You can run or jog, and you can walk on the road, trail, treadmill, track, at the gym or even at another race! You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Your registration fee will still support the Saint Louis Zoo; we will mail your shirt and finisher’s ribbon to you. Select "virtual runner" during the registration process.
